MEMBERS BECOME AWARE OF GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEMS:

Recently, the General Manager of the Association Mr. Yvon Poitras has directed two informative Global Positioning System (GPS) courses held in the province of New Brunswick during the month of June. Four individuals took part in Fredericton at the Maritime College of Forest Technology for an English session, while ten others participated in a French session in Saint-Quentin.

The collaborators of the courses came from the Fredericton campus of Maritime College of Forest Technology as well as the Bathurst campus. The topics covered were a combination of indoor and outdoor sessions using the GPS, giving the students theoretical and practical knowledge of the system.

Everyone was equally satisfied with the outcome of the course and found the information to be very useful and educational. Mr. Poitras hopes for more members to take advantage of courses such as these in the future.
